Revised Health Authority Regulations for Food & Beverage Service
Dear Members,
Last week, the Health Authorities implemented an an order for all liquor and food services, patrons had to be seated and served by staff. Members would have received this information by email from the Club.
Today, Dr. Bonnie Henry has clarified in the memo (linked below) that cafeteria’s and private clubs are exempt from this order. Effective immediately, members can once again order drinks directly from the Tiki hut. We still encourage members to find a table and staff will gladly provide table service to you.
There are still rules that we do have to adhere to at the Club, mainly that:
- There must be no more than six members seated at a table, even if they belong to the same party.
- Patrons must be able to maintain a distance of two metres from other patrons unless they are separated by physical barriers.
- Patrons who are not in the same party must be seated two metres apart from one another unless there are separated by a physical barrier.
- Members may bring up to two guests per family for food & beverage purposes only. Guests must have signed the COVID self declaration form, sign in at Member Services, and remain with a member at all times.
You can read the entire memo from Dr. Bonnie Henry HERE.
Thank you.
