Come Play Pickleball With Us
The North Shore Winter Club is excited to launch its indoor pickleball program! The new pickleball courts are located in the upper indoor tennis court area.
There are six pickleball courts: two permanent courts and two convertible courts. All four indoor pickleball court surfaces are standard hard court with roll-out and lock-in place nets. Our newly resurfaced rooftop courts, that provide an incredible view of the North Shore Mountains, provide two convertible outdoor pickleball courts.
The courts can be booked 5 days in advance through the NSWC’s GameTime online booking system.
About Pickleball
The growth of pickleball in Canada and the USA has significantly surpassed the numbers in squash and racquetball. The game is played both indoors and outdoors on a court the same size as a badminton doubles court using paddles, a plastic perforated ball and a net that is two inches lower than a tennis net. Pickleball is an addictively fun and yet challenging game that can be quickly enjoyed by all ages and abilities.
Paddles and Balls
Want to try this new fun game everyone is talking about but you don’t have a pickleball paddle? No problem! You can rent a paddle at Members Services for $5. No ball? No problem! Balls can be purchased for $5. Book a court and play today! Pickleball is fun, provides exercise, and is addictive. See you on the courts!
Please note, once you fall in love with pickleball… paddles are available for purchase at Time Out Source for Sports (don’t forget, members receive a 15% discount!).

Events
One of the things that makes pickleball so fun is socials! Socials allow groups of players of the same level to get together and play quick matches then rotate and play others. At the NSWC, we run socials on Monday and Wednesday evenings. It’s a great way to meet new players and learn new strategy. And once a month we run a Mixed Doubles Night. People can sign up with a partner or a spouse. It’s like a date night with most people heading to the lounge afterwards for drinks and food. Join us!
MEMBERSHIP INFO
Trial Memberships (For Singles, Couples, and Families)
If you are interested in a single, couple, or family membership that lasts one year and allows you to learn more about the NSWC, consider applying for a Trial Membership. This yearlong membership provides an opportunity to see what life at the Club is all about. At year-end, you can convert your Trial Membership into a Full Membership and your Entrance fee is credited towards the new status (within 5 years).
