Position Summary:

Are you passionate about cooking and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen? Join the North Shore Winter Club (the “Club”) team as a Line Cook and prepare delicious dishes to perfection, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. You’ll work in a clean, organized workspace and collaborate with our amazing team to ensure an exceptional experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, friendly guest service while ensuring food consistency and quality according to Club standards.
  • Set up and stock station with necessary supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to food safety, portion control, waste management, and workplace standards.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Guest-focused team player with demonstrated organizational skills
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Personable, friendly demeanor
  • 5-day availability with flexible shifts
  • Effective communication
  • Food Safe Level One certification, required
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Fluent in English
  • Reliable, works well under pressure

 

Physical aspects of this role include but are not limited to constant standing and walking throughout the shift, along with frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 30 lbs. Additionally, occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting may be necessary.
