Pay:                       $26.00 – $30.00/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule:            40 hours/week through weekdays, weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays

Position Summary:

Support our Facility Team with general maintenance and repairs on the facility and equipment. Be a key contributor in keeping our Club running smoothly and looking its best. You’ll collaborate with all other departments, helping to create an outstanding environment for members, guests and our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out day to day maintenance and repairs as required by the Supervisor.
  • Use and operate a range of tools and equipment for maintenance and repairs.
  • Evaluate all trade-related items and determine next course of action for repair.
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed on a daily basis.
  • Day to day preventative and regular maintenance.
  • Undertake related duties as assigned, supporting building operations as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • General carpentry, framing and finishing work
  • Painting, including prep, staining and trim repairs
  • Tiling and cabinet repairs
  • Minor plumbing repairs
  • Sanding, patching and re-caulking of tubs and sinks
  • Ability to complete other construction-related tasks as required
  • Self-starter, organized and independent worker
  • Must enjoy working in a public setting
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
  • Team-oriented
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Capable of lifting 30 lbs. safely

Additional Qualifications but not Required:

  • IFO / RSA
  • Pool Operations Course 1
  • Zamboni driver
