Hello Members,
On August 23rd, 2021, new Provincial Health Orders were announced in an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The safety of our members and staff is a priority for the Board of Directors and Management, and the Board has determined that the Club should adhere to the PHO directives. Accordingly, we are mandating changes to Club operations, as outlined below:
PROOF OF VACCINATION
By order of the PHO, Proof of Vaccination will be required for some events, services and businesses, including:
- Indoor and outdoor dining at restaurants, pubs and bars
- Recreational facilities, pools and fitness centres
- Indoor high-intensity group exercise
- Indoor organized gatherings like weddings, parties, conferences and meetings
As a result, members, staff and guests aged 12 years+ will need to provide Proof of Vaccination status to access the Club, with no exceptions. No one younger than 12 may be a guest.
Starting September 13th, all members, guests and staff must have had at least one dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine. By October 24th, all members, guests and staff must be fully vaccinated with an approved COVID-19 vaccine. This requirement will be in place until January 31, 2022, and is subject to extension.
The NSWC will also accept a negative COVID-19 test that was taken 48 hours prior, for entry to the Club.
We will advise Members on the next steps for providing vaccination status as soon as we can. All information will remain confidential relating to an individual’s vaccination status and will not be disclosed, except as required by law.
Members concerned about the vaccination procedures are asked to contact the Club President James Cronk (board@nswc.ca), or the General Manager Joanna Hayes (jhayes@nswc.ca), directly.
Just a reminder, guests aged 12 years+ of members are now permitted, but must provide proof of full vaccination.

Thank you,
The Board of Directors and General Manager
